Vingis visited a festival in Puńsk
Vingis was warmly invited to perform at the 7th Lithuanian Folk Dance Festival “Raitakojis”.

On June 21st, at the Lithuanian Cultural Centre in Puńsk, Vingis performed three dances at the 7th Lithuanian Folk Dance Festival “Raitakojis”: “Pinkim sesės vainikus”, “Džigūnas”, and “Ei, kieno kieno žalias kiemelis”.
Our dancers described the trip as both joyful and meaningful. Many were especially moved by the active Lithuanian community in Puńsk and how beautifully it preserves its roots and traditions. They also highlighted the warmth and hospitality they experienced, as well as the pleasure of performing for such a supportive audience. The concert marked a memorable close to the season, followed by a lively evening of dancing and new friendships among festival participants.
Alongside Vingis, the concert also featured ensembles from Kaunas, Kuršėnai, Jurbarkas, and Ežerėlis, as well as three dance groups from Puńsk - Jotva, Šalčia, and Vyčiai. Our warmest appreciation and thanks go to these groups for organizing such a wonderful festival and a lively evening. Thank you for your heartfelt hospitality!
Although this concert marked the end of the Vingis season, after a short summer rest, we will return to the stage, continuing to share music and dance with our audiences.
